May5, 2014, the press release for the strategic cooperation project between BeijingDesign Week and Tmal, the online electronic commerce giant was held in ChinaMillennium Monument. Tmall has brought to this strategic cooperation a seriesof other Ali brands, including Alipay, Juhuasuan, Taodiandian for an all-roundjoint project.

DesignMall is a key project of Beijing Design Week with design consumption as itsfocal point. Being positioned as “design synthesis”, Tmall involves a 10-dayoffline integrated design show and an online Tmall flagship design store.Offline events organized by Beijing Design Week and its millions ofparticipants will communicate and interact with Tmall e-commerce platformthrough wireless devices and technology.
